@nnpdx is awesome. Ken and Lynnette are very cool folks and smart business people. I consider them friends. What's exciting about www.enzymepdx.com is that we have staff writers, an office and an actual news room. I think that's what makes it different from other online launches. It's also what makes it similar to what I did at www.portlandsentinel.com. Both projects prioritized the newsroom as part of preserving deliberative journalism in the online world. We'll see. But Lew's background at the New York Times will push us into enterprising stories with high editorial expectations. I think that will also distinguish us over time. It's exciting.
