I'm fine with banning plastic bags, but it's absurd that the mayor of a major city would waste his own time on something like this.

here is a thought, at least can we ban store employees from forcing a bag on you. I had to get into a yelling match with a 7-11 employee the other day to get out of the store with my 6 pack of beer and no plastic bag.

I think some retailers are under the misapprehension that the OLCC requires them to bag to-go beer—at least, I've been told that more than once.
