I am voting against all bonds and levies this year. And before you say I'm cranky puss that always votes down new bonds, I will inform you that I am a cranky puss who voted for bonds for the zoo and PCC last time.

But it never ends does it? They use the normal tax stream for all types of BS then come to us and tell us they need additional bonds for essential things like fire trucks. Why don't they budget for fire trucks?

And let's not forget that Nick Fish put off a parks bond because it was bad timing, and then Randy steps right in with a fire bond. Did he take a crap on Fish's desk while he was at it?

Where was I? Oh yes. No bonds.

Because if they budgeted for things they knew they needed, they wouldn't have a reason to pass bonds all the time. We've continually failed to adequately fund our "reserve funds", as well, of course. Whee!
