Just what I needed! At least one election went the way I wanted it to

Tim pretty much sums up the sentiment shared by myself and everyone else I know that watched this season. I'm just glad I don't have to hear Gretchen's whiny voice anymore!

People take reality TV too seriously. Gretchen rules.

We all know Gretchen needs the money, because she played PR like she was on the old Queen for a Day program, when the winner was the woman who could poor-mouth the best, and who could appear the most pathetic, down-trodden and desperate.

If life for Gretchen on PR was like the rest of her life, it must be one big Gretchen Pity Party, because she will eagerly climb on the cross and play martyr at the drop of a hat...to the point of absurdity.

The judges didn't vote FOR Gretchen. They voted AGAINST Mondo, because Mondo has the strength of conviction to stand behind his vision, and Gretchen does not.

Two of the judges, in the Finale Part 1, told both Mondo and Gretchen to make specific major changes in their collections before they show on the runway show--which was two days away.

Mondo, after much consideration, decided to stand behind his design vision, and did not make the change (which was to not show the signature look of his collection).

Gretchen did exactly what she was told to do (which was to completely change the styling, and have the models wear high-heels and other accoutrements to make the look more urban and snappy), she did not have the strength of conviction to stand behind her own design vision, and it not only made the runway show NOT show Gretchen's design and styling, but it made her collection look schizoophrenic.

The judges were obviously angry with Mondo, and even asked him why he included the signature dress they told him not to include, at the final judging. It was the judges' egos that made it impossible for them to let Mondo win when he had "defied" them and stuck by his own vision.

Please wait...
