Really? Do they REALLY wonder if any restaurants have ever had their entire building stolen at 12:30am? Because that sounds more like lazy writing than something a person would really wonder.
They just found it, trashed with $6,000 in damages.
Cue the rightwing assholes claiming these guys were a failing business, etc. But they'd be chomping at the bit if it were a restaurant that took $6k in damages.
Has anyone seen Carmen Sandiego lately? She was always stealing ridiculously large things, like islands and airports. Is it any coincidence that Rockapella just played at the Aladdin?
This kind of coverage is yet another bias towards food carts, against the poor Restaurant Association and against a level playing field. I hope Randy Leonard forces food carts to buy "special media attention" permits from the city for these very instances.
@Oregometry: That sucks. I had expected that it was being hauled to L.A. or some other distant city. If someone was just going to trash it, why bother hauling it away first?
It wasn't. Damn thing gave me a hernia.
