Has there ever been an actually good half-time show at the Super Bowl? I feel like it's a wasteland of awful medleys and focus-grouped stage production.

@Graham, I thought you wrote "focus-groped", which in this case could just be a synonym or something that takes on a whole new meaning, depending on your perspective.

Everyone at my gathering agreed the Prince one was awesome.

As usual, we had the Puppy Bowl airing at halftime on a second screen.

Was that Black Eyed Peas performance worse than their normal ones? I'm unfamiliar with this group, and I couldn't really tell what was happening (not because I'm old, but because I was bored).

Prince was decent, Springsteen was better (and no, I don't want to hear it especially if you admitted to watching the Puppy Bowl. Nerd. )Generally Superbowl halftime shows are awful, and if you tune in for that and stupid gimmicks kindly fuck off because you have no business chiming in. Personally I want the halftime shit to end so I can see the 2nd half, then again I actually watch the Superbowl for Football. Crazy, eh
