It's a church, so don't be surprised when 90% of the proceeds actually go to "administrative costs" and young male prostitutes.

Before I go, I'll want to know what the charities are. If it's MercyCorps, I'll go. If it's the Salvation Army, not so much.

Still, the Village Ballroom is a great space. With the Firehouse nearby, could this finally be signs of that part of MLK's environs improving?

We have had many signs in Woodlawn that the times they are a changin And not by displacing anyone. By taking over spaces, that were not utilized to their full potential.

We now have businesses that form a community.

This is mostly due to a very proactive group of people who have had vision.
