what the fuck is this.

Why not just keep going until you can't do it anymore? You will have completed the 7 day challenge after tomorrow. That's not a big deal. C'mon. Just do it as long as you can, and blog the whole thing. Or tweet it . Or both.

Also, will you do We Didn't Start the Fire?

I'm not sure why, but I feel generally resistant and resentful toward this post.
4
JakeM, I will do this!
5
First time I sang karaoke, I attempted "White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane. It was over-ambitious for my first try. The audience gave me lots of sympathy.
6
Totally pro! Don't let the trolls bring you down!
7
Please do: Pat Benatar - Hell is for children.
I can never do it well, but I always make other people feel bad about them selves while doing it.
8
This post needs video if I am going to be able to adequately judge you.
9
Debbie Gibson-Foolish Beat
Chamilionaire-Ridin' Dirty
BJ Thomas-Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song

And something by Gordon Lightfoot.

Don't fuck 'em up.

I second the "Hell is for children" request. Also, if you can get one of the Devil's Point dancers to join you on "Islands in the stream", I will pay you (and the dancer) twenty American dollars.

Is this supposed to contain a review of Stripparoke?
12
I'll do hell is for children! I will also be out at least one of these nights in support of booze. I MEAN LAURA.
13
In a place like Devil`s Point ILL pay 23.99 American dollars (The Green Ones) to sing "Jumping Jack Flash", in karaoke fashion.
14
GO LAURA GO!

Portland Karaoke seems totally empty without the stripped-down cheese of the Alibi.

Also, just do "Keep your hands to yourself" by Georgia Satellites everywhere.
16
Karaoke from Hell is kind of limited, but I'll definitely do Hell is for Children one of the other nights!
17
@TWSS: I will throw in twenty Taiwan dollars.

I wish you were coming to Ground Kontrol's Rock Band Tuesday for Day 3! It's back in full swing at our newly-renovated digs; the new lounge has low seating and lit tables all around, giving the "stage" an intimate, unplugged feel. Plus, the new game and downloads feature 3-part vocal harmonies!

If you're a karaoke addict, you'd probably love the Karaoke Loop app. They have a native app for iPhone and a mobile web app for Android and other smartphones. Not only can you find shows near you (using your GPS location), you can also create a list of your favorite songs so you don't have to carry around a little list in your wallet (I did this for years).

I wouldn't have guessed there'd be so many karaoke spots in Portland.

Please wait...
