Dove Vivi gets shafted in this matrix. Their pizza is at least twice as filling as most of those other places.
2
SPARKY'S!!! $2 for a cheese slice. c'mon.
3
Sparky's! We forgot about them. Is the pizza any good?
4
Whoa, a pizza poll without Vincente's? $3 cheese, $3.50 pepperoni, and nice beer and salad selection.
5
BOOM!!! Escape from New York FTW!!!
6
fuck beer and salad!!! Well... not the beer part. Escape from New York has Iron City 16oz stubbys for $2
7
Yeah Vincente's is the champ.

Mississippi Pizza has a great lunch thing, 6$ for two big slices and a fountain drink, if I remember right.
8
Sparky's gets no love from anybody, but for cheap eats, their pizza + breadstick (huge/dipping sauce - $0.99!!) knows no match. Just gotta make sure the dopey motherfuckers at the register let the slices reheat in the oven long enough.
9
Dove Vive has slices? GTFO of here! Nice. Lunch tomorrow set.

Second Mississipi. Good slice/salad/sodie pop deals.
10
TSW, I regret to inform you that Dove Vivi doesn't serve lunch. They used to, and should start again, but currently they open at 4.
11
Sizzle Pie's brunch deal beats any slice price in town: $6 for a slice + bloody mary (w/ New Deal!) or mimosa or some kind of confusing dark beer brewed with espresso.
12
Dove Vivi has slices but isn't open for lunch. Truly delicious though.

I would have cast my second vote for Pyro Pizza. Great wood-fired pizza at a truly reasonable price without the long wait and truly weird rules (I'm lookin' at you Apizza Sholls!). Oh yeah, they also don't run out of dough and offer delivery!
13
yup. gonna have to go with dove vivi. it may be the most expensive, but it far exceeds the quality of its listed competitors. its almost beyond pizza! but maybe i just don't settle for "cheap" pizza. cheap pizza in my opinion is red baron and sometimes thats $3 a pie!
14
Hot Lips wins for their vegan focaccia, always available by the slice.
15
Vincente's has some of the most greasy (and not in the delicious way), sloppy, lackluster pizza I have ever shoved in my foodhole. Maybe I need to give it a second shot.

I rarely get slices and usually opt to share a pie (leftovers!), but if I'm at the office and getting a slice I usually opt for Pizzeria La Lombardia ($3.50 and gigantic) in the south parkblocks or Give Pizza A Chance.
16
Nostrana late night happy hour pizza for $5. Highbrow style.
17
Flying Pie. Their "Stromboli" pizza is the best thing EVER!
18
Let's not forget that Dantés offers giant, suuuper-cheap slices (somewhere in the realm of $1.75?). Granted, they are typically my last-resort-too-many-drinks option when waiting for a cab option, but it's worth mentioning!
19
Sparky's is as underrated as Lonesome's is overrated.
20
Pizzicato truly stands alone when it comes to quality.
21
Now, where is the beer matrix?
22
What the hell is Pyro doing on here?

Shitty cheap pizza is easy and everywhere. Places like Rocco's (RIP) and Stark Naked can't even improve on Pizza Hut and Domino's. Blech.

What we need are better pizzas by the slice, not cheaper. If you want cheaper, stock up on Totino's you drunk and stoned bingers. But pizza by the slice has fallen far behind whole pizzas in Portland in quality. There are only a couple of those even worth the calories.
23
No lunch slices at Dove Vive????

ARGH! TSW SMASH!!!
24
Pizza Oasis, made to order slices that are delicious. $1 PBR draft between 3-5. That's where it's at.
25
In winter, maybe once a year, Give Pizza A Chance makes a slow roasted bbq goat cheese pizza.

It was the best pizza I have had in my entire life.
26
Dante's had made my mouth and belly the happy more consistently than all the otters, however it also has never been a destination pizza by any means. Stop baggin on the Totino's extramsg. You know you gots some in your freezer...
The best feel good, taste good slices are at Mississippi/Atlantis ftw!
27
When the pizza is fresh at Captain Ankeny's the slices are great.

Also, I have never had a good experience or pizza at Sparky's, I used to work next door to one and tried them over and over.

Please wait...
