It's weird math, but two musicians I dislike covering a song by a band I dislike is somehow greater than the sum of its parts.

Movie still sucks, though, in any language.

Fitting that they chose an unneeded cover for the trailer to, what is essentially a movie cover.

I actually like both Zepplin and Karen O, but I know exactly what cat & beard means. When I hear a band do a good cover of a song I originally didn't like, I'm pretty impressed, a la the "Is that Peter fucking Frampton?" scene in High Fidelity.

The best example I can think of off the top of my head is Wild Horses- I can't stand the original, but quite like the cover by the Sundays. Weird.

Oh yeah- the movie. I'm fairly non-excited about it.
