Also, if you haven't seen the skateboard flick Jonze did called Yeah Right!, you should GO AND WATCH THAT IMMEDIATELY.

Beyond being the best skate vid I've ever seen, it introduced me to Fatlip, via the amazingly earwormy Today's Your Day (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Reqg9aCRGHQ), which led to Pharcyde, a group I'd previously neglected.

IN CONCLUSION SPIKE AND FATLIP SHOULD MAKE A BUDDY COP FILM.

OK, here's the part where I admit that I've just gotten around to hearing this song and watching this video. I loved MBDTF, agreed it was album of 2010, etc. I was interested in Thrones, but haven't had time to check out more than a review or two (I've been a little baffled by A- reviews that never seem to say for instance Track 3 is awesome or anything like that - it's all very general, which makes me suspicious).

Anyway..... upon first listen, I don't like Otis. The sample is decent, but it does all of the lifting and is even too intrusive. The raps are boooring.

The video... is not good. It basically underlines how regressively paint-by numbers this is for Mssrs. Yeezy & HOVA, who should be held to much higher standards. Monster showed they could work really well together very recently (even though Nicki Minaj's verse rightfully stole the track), so there's no excuse if the rest of the album is as meh as Otis.

DISAPPOINTED NOW, I RETURN TO WORK.

Please wait...
