Death is sort of like birth. Both involve lots of screams, blood, and weird fluids. Also, both smell bad. The circle of life. It moves us all.

Clearly Bachmann had in mind the opening paragraph of Nabokov's autobiographical Speak, Memory:

Bachmann is an IDIOT. We all get that here reading you guys. But jeez, attack her for things she has earned, instead of this petty BS, which leads folks to think the real shit to go after her for is just as trivial. I'm quite sure Bachmann is aware of Elvis being dead. We pay tribute to many dead folks on their b-days too.
