I like how the first two stories, about Egypt and NASA respectively, juxtapose the primitive nature of religious bigotry and the inspiring nature of modern scientific accomplishment. Nicely done, even if you didn't intend the effect.

I'll just correct my previous comment, if you did mean "Palestine" and not "the Palestinians" then you only had one typo.
