Sarah, did you get in on any good sales for X-Mas gifts?
I mean, you were right there...
2
Tabloid media by tabloid journalists. Whats wrong, could get a job with a real paper? Those protesters are just a bunch of no job having losers. The real people of the movement are out getting shit done while these stupid f#@ks are annoying the hell out of the people that matter in this town. I was there and just wanted to pound every siingle one of them.
3
Ohh, Daddy, you're so stwong! ;-)
4
What kept you from it? Hands too gooey and full of Cinnabon?
5
You can go ahead and type "fuck," Daddy. Try it, you might like it.
6
I got a really super cute pair of jeans today. Commerce!

7
The Occupation at Lloyd Center today was a complete success! Many consumers heard our message! The Occupation shall grow and continue!
8
So merely hearing your 'message' is the only criteria for success?
Or did everyone suddenly stop shopping and join the protest with you after burning their newly bought goodies in effigy?

Welcome to Occupy. It's not a location, it's a state of mind. December 21st 2012, money, time and space are going away, so start preparing. This Christmas won't be so good, but next Christmas all the stores will be unlocked, and everyone will be able to go in and get what they need, but they won't take too much, because it would be silly to take more than you need to use. So this Christmas give the gift that keeps on giving and never stop. Goodnight from Occupy.

frankieb - yes. Lots of random people joined in. Many engaged in dialogue. Give people something to talk about, and they will think about what they're saying. Hopefully.

Meanwhile, completely unrelated, Buy More Stuff thanks you for the kind report. Not sure what farcical is, can you buy it at Bed & Bath?
11
Occupy SPAM.
12
Fyi Frankeib, many people DID join us! Many who were shopping already kept doing that. But so far as i could tell, MOST of the folks at the mall were simply walking around not buying much of anything.

But there's no way YOU'D know any of this, by just sitting at home all day and being generally useless and utterly non-productive in any meaningful way.

"The Occupation at Lloyd Center today was a complete success!"
How do you judge it a success? People who were going to shop kept shopping. No way to calculate if the OccuFail changed purchases from imports or interstate to local.

"Many consumers heard our message!"
I hear the neighbors dog when her owner comes home. Doesn't mean I like it or that I want to hear more senseless noise. If anything, I want to hear less.

"Lots of random people joined in. Many engaged in dialogue."
See what happens when you occupy a bath? People are willing to get closer without thinking you are diseased.
14
Hey everybody: that's Andy from Beaverton. As far as we can tell, it's not an actual person.
15
I bought Alison and Courtney's weight in cat food today. Alison? Courtney? are you getting turned on yet ? Don't be shy.

Santa isn't watching yet. That outfit is at the cleaners.
16
Uh, yeah, catch you at the Mall Food Court next time dude, OK?
lindseywalker: oh-so naive. Bet you ain't living rent-free in a basement (that someone else paid for) this time next year, as well as our greenbacks continuing in circulation.
Wake up girl.
17
Well Andy, you soo obviously don't know shit about anything. Therefore, your opinion is utterly mute.
18
So how does this relate in messaging to the original Occupy intent? Just asking...
19
what does shopping at local stores have to do with this stupid movement? Or banks? what a bunch of idiots, go back to living under bridges...it's funny how their all so pissed off and broke yet they all use social media on 400 dollar phones!!! Phony degenerates
20
@bd -- It has to do with debt related slavery. Christmas gifting on this scale would not happen without advertising and bank credit. At At least 4% of every dollar spent on Black Friday went to the failed banks in store trade credit, merchant card fees, and consumer interest.
22
And you guys don't even know what that movement is about. You guys keep making shit up everyday. I bet you can't even name one thing that the movement was originally about. Oh and by the way, peaceful protesters don't need to hide their faces with bandanas like little pussys
23
Bahahaha! "Daddy so apoplectic with rage! He do nothing but pound furious missives on his keyboard of kickass!" It looks like some Real Doll's "daddy" bought her the wrong cheaply produced, expensively marked-up goods today, and she was dragged away by a real mack.
24
I find it somewhat endearing that Occupy-types, whether driven by white guilt or not, seem to have realized the need for an affirmative action plan and ventured off to Lloyd Center to recruit some African-American teens who might not otherwise give a fuck about politics.
25
@eastside,
You're an ass.
26
Actually Solidarity Brother, my anger towards these dip shits is that I was assaulted by one of them and could do absolutely nothing about it. You obviously don't know who I am. Let's just say that I am 'linked' to this post.
27
LOL at goofy bumbling nauseatingly naive embarrassingly earnest sheltered white libtards.

@Your Daddy, Of course I know who you are. You're Your Daddy, right? It says your name right on my screen. You say you've been assaulted. If so, Beyond a bit of snark I'm sorry to hear that. I've also been assaulted, by the deceptive practices of the proprietors of some of the largest big box stores the world has to offer. Family members, and close friends have been similarly assaulted by some of the world's larger lending and money management institutions. I'm sorry to say we have assault in common, but am glad to say we have each other. We should start a support group of two, but it sounds like you just want to hit people. Not my stilo. I'm out here pushing for something more ethical. I hope you choose to do the "sane." Best to you.

Well, so far I've read comments about how the occupy folks need to :go back under a bridge, take a bath, shoot themselves in the head, and get jobs. I think that some of these enraged, obviously enormously wealthy anti occupy people need to find a more cohesive message, maybe if they had a leader...
Perhaps "Andy from beaverton" or this extremely articulate "your Daddy" could organize a protest in support of huge corporations and the banks and insurance companies that are doing so much to help out people like you and me, you know, the Working people.
Perhaps they could go to a homeless encampment and tell everyone there what huge losers they are, and that they should get guns and shoot themselves in the head, maybe they could just smash some homeless faces to get their point across. That is the kind of change I could really get behind.
thanks for reading, and remember BUY MORE STUFF!!!
31
Must've hit a nerve. Truth hurts, but sometimes it just may set you free.

They picked a mall without a Mac store.

Please wait...
