As you may be aware, traffic crashes kill more Portlanders than violent crime does.
As you also may be aware, 150,000 Portlanders cannot drive. They're too young, too old, too poor, or too infirm. And we all deserve options.
And, gosh, health care costs are skyrocketing, and oh, there's that thing called climate change that the London School of Economics says will cost 5-20% of our GDP. Both of these are tied pretty closely to our transportation system.
We're one point of information, and I, at least, base my voting on a broad set of factors, many beyond Bike Walk Vote issues.
We're trying to help voters understand where the candidates are on one set of issues. If you'd like to not know that, feel free.
