I just started watching Sherlock (btw, I love all things Holmes) and somehow have missed that his name is Benedict Cumerbatch as I have been so distracted by having Hitchhiker Arthur as Watson. That is an awesome name. Thank you for bringing that to my attention.
I think he will be an excellent Star Trek nemesis and I am looking forward to spotting him in Tinker Tailor.
@ALISON: IN MY MIND, A GOOD PIECE OF MYSTERY WRITING HAS TO HAVE ALL THE CLUES AVAILABLE TO THE AUDIENCE. SOME OF THAT OCCURRED IN THIS EPISODE, BUT THAT WHOLE SECTION WITH THE KEYCODE TO THE SAFE WAS OBFUSCATED FROM THE AUDIENCE. IT WAS OVERALL A GOOD EPISODE, NO DOUBT... BUT I STILL FELT LIKE IT WAS PANDERING; OR MAYBE THAT THEY WERE TOO CAUGHT UP IN THE IDEA OF HOW COOL THINGS COULD BE RATHER THAN ACTUALLY MAKING THINGS BE COOL.
Alison: Please make someone make a Sherlock discussion thigny, because I have some Issues with that episode and I don't want to ruin it for people who don't like things ruined by obsessive dorks on the internet.
Garham Cracker, are you stoned or just a eunuch? "A Scandal in Belgravia" was by far the best episode so far. Lara Pulver was smoking hot in her role as Irene Adler. Cumberbatch is usually quite annoying, but plays a modern Sherlock character quite well.
Graham: I... I felt the same way.

Cumerbatch out!
Cumberbatch out!
