It was still an incredibly stupid act on the part of 'occupy' to try to shut down the ports - and 99% of the public knows this.
Denis - man you should just wear your 'occupy' cheerleader outfit to work.

Did you read the statement, Frankie? Why don't you comment on that? It shows how ignorant and wrong your comment under the linked article was.
Your made-up statistics and weak putdown shows that you have no criticisms based in reality. You just like the petty thrill of posting the same generic dismissive and negative comments anytime the topic of Occupy shows up in the blog. You never praise or affirm anything in any political discussion because you have no sense of goals or strategy. People who strike or protest are bad and dumb -- that's essentially your criticism.

These people don't represent the ILWU, so it is their *opinion*. That is to say, if the tautology of "post hoc ergo propter hoc" is a basis to preserve public opinion in favor of Occupy, and bloggers on the left continue to regurgitate this, then we have no real reason to consider all of the other evidence that maybe Occupy was way off base in their remarks then, their hubris and narcissistic actions leading up to the "big decisive EGT battle", and their complete revisionism and control of the narrative after the fact. That these two individuals in the ILWU wish to feed this, in spite of the fact that they don't and never will have the sanction to speak with any kind of moral or rational authority on behalf of the union, proves what a farcical illusion Occupy has been in relation to the port. Someday, sycophants may realize this, possibly after everyone else has figured it out, as the truth slowly comes out.
