AREN'T THE MAYORAL PRIMARIES LIKE SIX WEEKS AWAY? THESE CANDIDATES BETTER GET THEIR SHIT TOGETHER. BUT OVERALL, I FEEL LIKE THIS IS CURRENTLY A RACE FOR SECOND PLACE TO GET ON THE BALLOT IN NOVEMBER (ASSUMING BRADY JUST COASTS IN ON NAME RECOGNITION AND LOTS OF MONEY).
Undecided is winning because coverage of the race has been lacking. For example, I don't even know if Bill Dant has any new amusing songs about vehicles. And no one will get that because no one cares.
Top Issue = that guy at New Seasons who didn't pay for his tofu
If they say "I don't know" or "I'm not sure" that's a tick for the "not sure" column. However, if they say "My biggest concern is Portland's long and tragic history of llama infestations," then that goes in the "something else" column.
I continue to demand a Max Brumm VS Max Bauske mayoral debate or, failing that, at least a civic-minded rap battle.
@Graham.....damn, you know the secret plan! NOOOO!
@CGR.....Portlanders are largely politically active to promote and campaign for things that a city that is 80% white and left wing wants. You know, Bike paths, recycling, the arts(just kidding)......In other words, things that interest them and affect them. I am not saying our citizens are utterly unconcerned about issues that don't affect them directly, but the economy is the huge issue here. The level of unemployment and constant streams of transplants moving here while jobless (oy vey) are a problem. Brady is not your savior. Not even close. No wonder so many are undecided
