They all bitched because they caught-on that the writing was lazy and contrived; full of inconsistencies and plot holes and a complete rejection of the makeup of their own protagonist. They're pissed off because they swallowed the hype from the producer, which turned out to be false.
Suppose you would have reason to not be upset if you did not give two-shits one way or another about any story whatsoever. In which case, there-there, Biodrone, there-there...it'll be all okay.

Nex, you are an idiot.

I'm glad they're changing it. It was a poor ending that didn't fit the story, nor the idea of choices "mattering," that the series set out. It was a let-down.

Sure, it's art. At least it was the first time around when the Matrix did it.

oh, sure, complain "it was unsensical", to me it was just deep.

It was a poor ending to many many hours of my life put into that game. It just seemed like lazy writing at the 11th hour.

I think it's great that consumers got together to complain about it. Video games are an interactive art, taking critique from your audience is very important. If only 'Lost' would have put an alternate ending out, or if George Lucas himself released re-edited Episodes 1-3 instead of forcing fans to recut those films.

But I guess Internet vox populi isn't your thing (unless it's something you have a problem with, then you get to review it on this blog).

Also: that picture you posted has nothing to do with the topic at hand.

@5: I'm with you about the ending of "Lost". I haven't recuperated from that yet. A light in a church, what the fuck? (We are talking about the series right?)

Please wait...
