She's is a good writer, especially her work on Monitor Mix -- but I feel like a memoir at 37 years old is a bit precious.

My god I am fucking tired of hearing about Kevin Sampsell's FREAKISHLY OVERRATED book. Seriously, the only fucking reason I can think that this thing gets so much slavish drooling over it is because it was written by a cool Powell's employee. I made it maybe 50 pages in before I got bored out of my fucking mind and decided that everyone else are idiots for loving this hunk of garbage.

Relax, if Mercury writers couldn't kiss local ass and pretend to read shit, we'd have nothing to read on this blog. If Kevin Sampsell hires her and then we find out she was hiding a scandal involving him, then you can jump and shout.
