Denis - you seem to be forgetting a crucial detail: Keaton Otis was the first person to pull a trigger.

Also... the parts that supposedly say "I've got my hands up!" and "Let's do it!" are completely unintelligible.

This might qualify as the least-informative, worst "news" post on Blogtown of 2012. And that's saying something.

Yeah, if you look away from the subtitles (what a concept), you can't tell what's being said. It sounds more like "I've got my hair on fire" than "I've got my hands up."

Keep in mind that whoever made those subtitles is not the most objective person.

I actually think most of what's in the subtitles is pretty clear, even when you're not looking at them, even the "Let's do it." The problem with this video is that you still can't see anything. And the pause that came up in the grand jury testimony is still there.

That's partly why I included all the details about the timing of its release, and what's been happening behind the scenes with the city.

Even if you do believe you can understand the words (though I can't see how that's possible) - the "He's going for something, he's going for something!" part is pretty clear. That seems pretty pertinent, yet you fail to mention it.

I LISTENED TO THE AUDIO A HALF DOZEN TIMES AND THE PART WHERE OTIS SAYS "I GOT MY HANDS UP" JUST ISN'T THERE IN THIS VERSION. MAYBE AN AUDIO ENGINEER CAN COME IN AND CLEAN UP AND ISOLATE THE VOICES, BUT IT'S JUST NOT THERE.

Please wait...
