I will admit I hate-read this and the writing is hilariously terrible! If I had a nickel every time the lead bites her lip, blushes, and says "Oh my", I could buy a Kindle.

Most striking is how the thing was clearly written and edited by Britons, and yet the character and setting are supposed to be American (and in Seattle, specifically). It's totally bizarre and very funny.

This is sad & amusing all at once. Sad, sad writing & even more sad that it is devoured by americans at the high rate that it is. And yet, i am incredibly amused that people actually read this shite. And amused at the shite itself. So, bravo americans for being sadly amusing.

This book was HORRIBLE! And I had no idea that it started as Twilight fan fic until after I stopped reading the book midway through and wanted to research why it sucked so goddamn much.

The writing style is very immature--in the sex scenes the main character Anna exclaims "HOLY COW!" and "Oh my gosh" and describes how Christian Grey touches her "down there". The author does a clumsy job try to convince the reader that Anna's an intelligent (She reads classic books!) but unfortunately the author gifted her with the vocabulary of a middle school girl. Oh, and she bites her lip like, a million times in the book. AND YOU DON'T GO THROUGH PORTLAND FROM VANCOUVER TO GET TO SEATTLE!

Perhaps the idea the book is presenting is sexy, but in my opinion the book itself it not. At all. The writing is too atrocious for this supposed "erotica" book to stimulate any sexual inkling whatsoever.
