Can you do an Otter Friday post explaining the differences between otters and seals? I get them confused all the time. I see their heads pop out of the water when I'm surfing, and I immediately think, "that thing is staring at me, and it's a jerk (because it looks mean!)." But I'm never sure which one it is - otter or seal.

ROM, as far as I know, we only have 1 surviving sea otter in Oregon. Plus, there's a size difference. So I'd say....you're seeing a seal.
