I'VE BEEN ASKING AROUND IN REGARDS TO MILKSHAKES ALONG WITH CHRIS HERE, TWO HONORABLE MENTIONS NOT LISTED ABOVE ARE FOSTER BURGER AND DICK'S KITCHEN. I'VE PERSONALLY HAD THE MILK SHAKE AT FOSTER BURGER, BUT AFTER YOU'VE EATEN THE BURGER AND A SIDE OF FRIES, THE CALORIC INTAKE IS ENOUGH TO PUT ANYONE TO SLEEP. DICK'S KITCHEN HAS BEEN GETTING MORE AND MORE MEDIOCRE AS TIME HAS GONE ON AND I FEEL THAT IT SHOULD BE AVOIDED.

AS MUCH OF A TRAVESTY AS IT SOUNDS, DO ANY OF THE VEGANS HAVE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR VEGAN MILKSHAKES?

FAIRLEY'S PHARMACY IS NEXT TO THE ROSEWAY THEATER. I'LL HAVE TO TRY THEM OUT THE NEXT TIME I GO SEE A MOVIE (OR MAKE BOBBY DO IT, HE'S OVER THERE EVERY SINGLE DAY).

@Graham - There are many places to get milkshakes. This article is about the much harder to find malt.

@Graham,

I can't remember if Dick's Kitchen's shakes are malted, but I had the Oregonic shake the other week -- vanilla with a shot of Frangelico -- and sweet baby jane, it was delicious. A bit rich for one person, but spectacular.

@REYMONT: WHY DON'T YOU GO DO SOME BASIC RESEARCH AND COME BACK WITH SOMETHING USEFUL.
5
AS A VEGAN, I SEEM TO REMEMBER A CART DOWN BY 10TH AND ALDER A FEW YEARS BACK THAT WAS DOING VEGAN SHAKES. I DON'T KNOW IF IT'S STILL AROUND.

CAN'T THINK OF ANYWHERE ELSE.

My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard
7
Reymont, kick him in the malted milk balls.
8
You forgot Rose's on NE 42nd. Best malt in town.
9
You can get a good one at the Corner Cafe on Main in Forest Grove.

@Dolby yes! Lived in that are for 10 years. @Melogna, I don't think I would want a "milkshake" at "Dicks Kitchen". Although I did get takeout a few months ago on a date, and of course said very loudly "Boy I have been waiting all day TO EAT A BAG OF DICKS!". I can be extremely childish at times:(. By the way it sucked, and if you are going to lecture about "how to cook a burger" you should be able to fucking execute what you espose

That "neighborhood", sorry:). In all seriousness, what the hell is a "Vegan Milkshake?"

Not sure if they're malted, but the milkshakes at Back to Eden are pretty tasty. And uh.. vegan.

Please wait...
