It's only my opinion, but I believe they count the votes in these local races.

What a disappointment the mayor's race turned out to be. And I was hoping I could avoid voting for artful Charlie in November but I can't possibly bring myself to support the proud candidate of the Chris Humphries Society for Preservation of Brutality and Advancement of Torture.

Tough loss for Brady, but it's heartening to see that voters looked past all the money she raised and realized she's not really prepared to be mayor.

They should give consolation titles to the other candidates like they do in beauty pageants. Cameron W can get congeniality for all his smiling photos, Brady can win a creativity title for her padded resume, Max B can get best impersonation of a Village Person for his lassoed cowboy outfit.
