It's funny that our instinct in these cases is so childish - "finders keepers!" but the reality is that these homeowners had the unbelievable gall to fight TWO court battles against the rightful heirs (trial court and appeal) to claim half a million dollars they didn't earn in any way or bargain for when they bought the home. Fucking babies.
