Human in training, are you using your ignorance of the current process as an argument against the process? Are you unaware that we do, indeed make sure people don't vote twice as voter rolls already do get purged and refreshed with some regularity?

The sole purpose of voter ID laws is to disallow people at a distinct disadvantage of having those IDs (the very old and minorities mainly) from voting, and to ask them to go through a process that can sometimes take weeks to GET an ID five weeks before an election.

If you can't take those facts at face value, I don't know what to do for you.

To all of you mentally midgets who truly believe this about racism, let's have a discussion here. First, can I as an American citizen vote in Canada or Mexico? No. I can't. Can old people get an I.D.? Yes. Absolutely, yes. In fact, they are required to carry I.D. for most of American every day life and responsibilities. Can black people go down and get an I.D.? Yes. Si. We can put aside the "why hasn't everyone paid for their 'government required' I.D.s" question for a moment. The more important question is WHY this is such a hot issue right now. The expected response is, "because voter fraud is rampant!" But... it's not rampant. Since 1981, there has been 1 documented case of voter fraud (

When we order a beer at a pub. Pack of smokes? You betcha. When we make a large purchase on a credit card. There are many more examples out there. Why not show it to vote? What are Dems trying to do? Are you trying to call racism so people don't see that what you're really doing is pandering to illegal immigrants by allowing them to vote and get counted? Now, when you speak of voter intimidation, do you remember the story back in 2008 outside a Chicago-area voting station where Black Panthers stood outside with batons in a threatening manner? I see. How do I know all the IDs that lazy (qualify to vote with with paycheck stub or $100 fee) voters currently have aren't HObama using his secret Hawaiian document forgers to fake IDs.
