Is Quinn really the first female to *run* for mayor of New York City? The article just says she'd be the first female mayor if she won. FACT CHECK!

OK, I'll save you some time. The first female candidate for mayor of New York City was Cynthia H. Van Name Leonard, who ran on the National Equal Rights Party ticket in 1888.

I haven't yet been able to determine whether she was a lesbian and/or an ancestor of Randy Leonard.

Todd, can you please take this clowns job?
4
@ Showstopper

This clown's job.

I was offered the job recently, but couldn't reach agreement with the company on the size of the chocolate fountain to be installed in my office.

Grammar win for you then. Unfortunately this idea does not extend to your editorial ability or getting past some very tired schtick. Just a challenge. The Mercury has had some interesting moments but overall your journalism is pretty poor.

@Todd....I've got a golden ticket!

Please wait...
