If you are going to critisize the Republican Party, then at least do it fairly, for crying out loud. They may have many positions I don't agree with, but blaming those things on them is just plain idiotic - at best.

Just to clarify (even though doing so strips me of a pretty good excuse for my failure to find a suitable mate when i was up there):

Alaska men outnumber women by not very much, actually. Nowhere near even 2-to-1, let alone 4-to-1. Though the man-to-women ratio is the nation's highest, it's still pretty darn close to 50/50.
