Even as a kid, I thought Guardians of the Galaxy was some weird shit. After Marvel's recent successes, this might be a huge mistake.

A talking walrus named "Wal Russ" seems pretty fucking lazy.

The vast majority of superhero cinema has shied away from the weird intergalactic shit that's been a huge staple of comics for years. Movie superheroes tend to be more earthbound and tied down than their print counterparts. I'm happy to see Marvel getting into the weird space shit, raccoon and all.

I'm looking forward to seeing how a walrus can have "bipedal body construction." (Well, not really.)

I am so looking forward to dropping some acid and seeing this movie. My entire childhood I imagined that those comics must be what an acid trip was like, and I was right.
