Parking? BUT WHYYYYYYY??!?

Dirk, I think the public conversation around transportation, housing, and parking has evolved--at least in Portland--to the point that public dialogue about "parking" (including in news journals and blogs) now demands a distinction between auto parking and bicycle parking.

Do you agree?

In this case, I think that (1) the parking described in this post should specify that it is "auto parking", if that is the case, and (2) the question is begged--and should be called out--whether and how much bicycle parking capacity is planned, both for short-term use, and residential use.
