Nope, I mean Amy Acker on a unicycle.

If some guy asks you the time at a streetcar stop, tell him that time is relative and that pixies don't wear watches. Then laugh maniacally, kiss a pigeon, and walk slowly away backwards.

I think/hope that you are taking the self-deprecating "humor" a little too far in this one...

Huh. Seems like "tough" people of either gender do and say stupid things all of the time, and it doesn't make it any harder to deride them.

I guess there are a lot of reasons that not-small girls could get mad at small girls, but this one seems like a stretch. If nobody's participating in a behavior to attract mates (which, most things that you do, even if you think they aren't, are meant to attract a mate, from "being tough" to "adhering to a specific tendency in demonstrating value to a specific group though a public declaration of personal politics") then what is the problem with any person's qualities of "attractiveness" or lack of them?

In other words, this post seems pointless except as a rumination on the navel, which, while awesome to some when pontificated upon in the annals of livejournal circa 1999, seems pretty sad when printed in a relatively well known weekly's blog.

Please wait...
