So basically if you build a big enough camp and hang around long enough, the city will give you free land! Great message to send. Another brilliant cave by the city. Now we have Dignity Village and R2D2. Where will the next one spring up?

Blabby:

Isn't it obvious? Right to Dream 3 will set up at 4th and Burnside.

Next stop - Your neighborhood Blabby!
R2Dtoo is getting a legal place to stay because they have tirelessly volunteered to uplift one another by providing a safe place to access the most basic of human needs - SLEEP. R2Dtoo is a model for a peer supported, self governed community made up of a diverse group of people experiencing homelessness.
Why don't you do something productive for society Blabby? You are always on here trolling around and commenting on things. There is much work to be done. The good people at Right 2 Dream Too are doing that work, unpaid. Very admirable.

it would be a lot easier to lease some land out in eastern oregon and also would help our city smell less like urine and used needles. I hope the city is budgeting for cleaning this place out with a fire hose every once in awhile.

Hey, @econoline: What exactly does a used needle smell like? And have you spent any time down at the current site? I'm guessing not. It's easier to wield cliches.
7
I do productive work. It's so productive that someone actually pays me to do it. Enough to have a house.

Got to say, Blabby, that while you have a job, you have no ability to see past your own very small life. You know the price of everything and the value of nothing.

You and the folks who "like" your comments are ugly clear down to your souls.

Dear Blabby, what you are saying is your employer has not yet figured out how to eliminate the need for your job, or replace you with a cheaper person on an H1B visa. I assume you neither have nor want any union protection, so you can be fired any time for no reason. Just in case it happens, you might want to take some barista classes or nurse training, 'cuz that's about your only options.

Please wait...
