A couple more videos from little Miss 'All-i-really-want-to-do-is-just-get-fucked-over-and-over-and-over-over-again-for-perpetuity' Cyrus, and i just might change my tune about censorship...it might not be such a bad thing after all in instances like this.

I mean, the government doesn't allow people to taint our land and waterways with garbage, so why should it stand for it when someone like Cyrus repeatedly dumps the equivalent of raw sewage into our brains?

The Britney song, on the other hand, is fantastic. I always knew that vocals that sound like a robot being strangled laid over a monotonous track of melody-challenged computer gibberish would make for a great song.

(As for Eminem: Well, in this context he looks pretty darn good, like the clean, virgin-white part of a blood and shit-stained wad of toilet paper floating in a bowl full of reeking, colorful ungodliness.)

It's also possible that music is subjective. But no, you're probably right, @human_in_training. You're probably right.

@ Alex:

Ummm, so says the fellow who titled his post "This Week In Ridiculous Pop Music" and who flung as many insults at these poor dears in the body of it as i did in my comment...

I'm pretty sure we're on the same page here, Alex, when it comes to us conveniently ignoring the fact that music is obviously subjective and the unfortunately-untrue belief that our respective tastes are 'better' or 'more correct' than the tastes of those with whom we disagree.

Or, were you being sarcastic? (Good, because so was i...or at least i was about the censorship part, anyway.)

Please wait...
