Books make good presents if the person giving them to you knows you well enough to make a good recommendation. Crazy born-again, yet still prayer-flag-hanging godmother giving out BLUE LIKE JAZZ to all the high school graduates she knows is not the same as your sister who read something that reminded her of you.
