The Roseland is such a shitshow mess of a venue. They always end shows early, but the whole feedback/crowd control method is pretty bush league. Compared to most venues that size, they charge you a pretty penny plus service charges to see a show in a poorly ventilated building. Getting out of there is the worst, one staircase with one exit. The Wonder Ballroom, Doug Fir, Hawthorne, Aladdin, shit even the Crystal, are all far better spots.

sad. people cheering at the end for a man that made an ass of himself. there are house rules. you break them and you are done. what a fucking coward for pushing a man doing his job. don't blame the venue. blame the moron. in a culture that seemingly admires respect this is a spit in the face. next time Roseland, book a real artist, a respectful artist, an artist that brings out a good side of people. Bronson, grow the fuck up.

I refuse to go the roseland because of their horrendous security guards. I was at a floater show at musicfest nw and although I don't smoke weed apparently one of the guards thought he saw someone near me smoking and assumed that it must have been me. He came up shined a blinding flashlight in my face, cussed at me, and threatened to throw me out of the venue. When I asked why he said because I was smoking when I asked to talk to his manager because I was not smoking anything he shoved me told me not to do it again and stomped off. I have missed plenty of shows since I wanted to see because I am just not willing to deal with that place anymore.
