Can you clarify the status of PCS? Is it technically owned by the city and just operated by a private entity? If owned by a private entity, shouldn't that entity be raising the funds to make structural repairs rather than the city?

I'd rather throw money at roads than parks right now, and would prefer not to have to do both at the same time.

The Mt Tabor Yard is the main physical plant facility for the whole parks system --and it's a disgrace. People have to work there and half the time they're standing in puddles or shit's falling over. It's surprising that somebody hasn't been hurt there yet.

Not the sexiest issue in the city --but we need to find the money to fix that place.

Hey Denis, that $300 million you mentioned, is that gigantic amount just the Park Bureau's entire wishlist? That seems ridiculously high.

Denis, can you write a post explaining what exactly our normal property taxes DO pay for anymore?

Please wait...
