I love the idea of a Sullivans Gulch multi-purpose trail. Nothing screams "set up a homeless camp here!" like an easily accessible canyon near the central city alongside a railroad track. Here are some possible names for the trail:

Tent Canyon
Hooverville 2: Bigger, Better, Gulchier
Night Terrors
Trench Welfare

I guess I don't really understand. Is this "sky's the limit" kind of stuff, or is it reality based?

I wonder if the office where the 26 year old "planners" who put this together is like totally one of workplaces where you can ride your longboard down the hallways n stuff. That would be so awesome!

over 12 bridges downtown Portland lets only replace or add one of the two between Portland and Vancouver. lets keep Portland in the top 10 worst city's with traffic.

Move away from fantasy land and look at reality. They want a street tax paid for by residents and businesses because the city isn't bringing in enough to pay for the infrastructure we have. I'm not going to give up my car and thousands upon thousands of Portland wont give up their cars. Put the money where it was intended to go. The streets for cars and make the bikers pay for the "Want's" they're demanding. There is a life outside the Pearl and if you want it to proper, you must have streets cars will drive on.

Can we scrap all this bullshit and just focus on what's really important: a West-bound entrance/exit ramp for NE 122nd!!!???

Please wait...
