I hope they pass this increase, because I am not a fan of tipping and the way it unfairly rewards some jobs and not others. Once everyone makes a living wage I won't feel the need to tip at all anymore. In fact I hope that most restaurants will post signs prohibiting the practice.

We're not Seattle. We're not San Francisco. Those pushing for a 15 dollar minimum wage - the unions, career politicians, unemployable activists, and yuppies who've never owned their own business or worked retail a day in their life - are going to get their asses handed to them on this one.

Econoline, what happens when everyone is making $15 an hour, most of them not on merit? You will be asking for another large unearned increase in wages. During all of this, inflation will put everyone at the same point before it all started.
