Anon, if you are going to take the bus you are going to have to increase your tolerance for crazy people. There are a lot of people like that and worse. It's just the way it is. So have some patience with the whole bus experience or find a different mode of transportation.
I use the max occasionally and ride my bike, its a lot safer and less of a headache. I use to ride the bus but the people drove me crazy. I had to break up a fist fight once, on the bus, for Christ's sake.

@2 ... Amen, Todd! It's the little things (like saying "please" and "thank you," no white after Labor Day, and not calling people fucking cunts until after 9:00 a.m.) that make life tolerable.
