I was prepared to say rude things about the author of this diatribe, based on the title and the word "breeder". That's a bit uncalled for. However every point within the post is valid. In the old days families would be asked to leave. Maybe we should bring that back.

Amen
3
Yeah, this one's a lot closer to what the actual problem is. It also includes the word 'hellion.'
4
anyone who says "the old days" is full of shit and should be beaten with a stick.
And oh wow, bad parents are bad! thanks for the news flash.

You generalize to all parents-- a basic logical fallacy-- to justify your obvious prejudice.

Didn't your parents tell you not to judge large groups of people based on the actions of a small sample? Or at least, one of your teachers?

You're waaaay more toxic than a 5 year old interrupting a precious steak dinner. Thank goodness you'll never breed. And don't adopt, either. Spare the child (and the rest of the world) your foolish, hateful thinking.

6
Steak, let me brake it to you. Your argument is a logical fallacy, not whose you're attacking of this practice.

Learn to read and discern and then you can come out of your sand box, and maybe post in some other adult blog. Idiot, use your account to post.

I know how every commenter writes in all its shapes and forms of those who comment here periodically or weekly. And of those assholes who came in some months ago, just to make all of this worse. Yuppie Looser. Login, AND GTFO.

This IA makes ALL GREAT/VALID points! Yeah, it's pretty goddamned horrifying when little babies are screaming on the bus/MAX, or when parents bring their [slightly older] brats to an R-rated film and THEY start acting up! The library is another example.

If selfish people are going to breed without regard to everyone and everything around them, the LEAST they can do is muzzle their fucking kids out in public! We muzzle ugly dogs who bark too much. Why can't we muzzle kids who scream too loudly???

LOVE this IA! While on the topic, why do we provide breeders with tax breaks in the form of 'deductions' when they have a kid? Does this make any sense at all??? Breeders should pay a TAX PENALTY for having children as they are a HUGE burden on society! Those of us who don't have children should be rewarded with the tax deductions.

Parents dont seem to give a shit when their toddlers are screaming bloody murder at the library

THANK YOU, Doogie! This is EXACTLY the sensable arguement i myself have been making. If the U.S. govt. wants to raise funds and decrease our national debt. the NUMBER ONE way this can be done is by cutting the Defense budget by 30% immediately.

And probably the second best way would be to invoke a 'baby/breeder tax'. And increase that tax, based upon how many offspring one has. If a person wants 3 cars he/she doesn't need, well, they have to pay taxes on all three, don't they? That person has to have insurance, tags, bills of sell for all three vehicles.

If you own multiple dogs, they ALL have to be registered, chipped, licensed, fixed, etc. We don't pay people to have pets - that's not how the Hell it works.

We don't PAY people to own luxury/status items they don't need. Why should it be any different with children?

Just cuz you shootin blanks doesn't mean you gotta be so jelly, beyoch!

Huh? Dude, OregonLive is THAT way!

I just got home from Movie Madness, where apparently it is "Bring Your Over-Indulged Asshole Brat Nite!"

My dad was far from strict, but I would have never gotten away with how some of these kidz act
14
Oh man, Movie Madness is another one! And no doubt it's gotten worse since Hollywood Video abruptly tanked more than a year ago, with Blockbuster (Lackluster) close to total collapse as well. Thankfully, Red Box and Nexflix are still keeping most of the lame asses at bay, but that can only go on for soo much longer.

I really wish MM would not allow kids in after a certain time. Laurelhurst does this. NO brats are allowed in the theatre past 4:30pm. The result is, ADULTS are able to watch an evening film in peace!

Agree very much with this. It is the parent's duty to raise their kid to be able to act appropriately in public settings. My philosophy is that if someone isn't taking control of their child in public, I reserve the right to say something directly to them about it. Cannot expect etiquette if you lack to demonstrate it.

Please wait...
