Tell it to a therapist, you life-destroying prick.
2
:O Well. I guess this is a real confession.
3
Prison might change you. Worth a try.
4
It's ok Steve, we'll keep reading the Mercury, we love you.
5
With any luck, this guy's prison boyfriend will be giving him the same speech

This another of those "why don't you just tell the person directly" posts.

You want to remain anonymous to the person you're trying apologize to? Why? You need other people to read it? Why?

Anyway, if you really care about her you got two choices: never hit her again, or leave her so she can find someone who isn't abusive.
7
the abuser could be a woman :O

This may be sort of a real confession, but it's not a real apology. Cop-outs all over: This is just the way I am; why don't you just leave me so that I'll do something about my problem, etc. If you were really sorry you'd have already gotten help. If you won't do that, I can't understand why the relationship should exist a minute longer. You'll "keep trying"? Fuck you.

"Dear Journal I would like to tell you that..."

- I don't know how to change but I'll keep trying. [Meanwhile I'll just keep hitting you]-

...is what it seems this I,A says.
12
Aww, he deserves it. What's more, he likes it too.
Continue.

Kids can be so cruel... but most of them are like this when they're young.
14
Yeah, and teenagers are terrible, so what we grandpas can do?

I'm glad I refuse to change, I really am. I like being a horrible monster. I can control it too, it's like a switch I flip to go from pretending to be perfectly normal to becoming a screaming asshole who hits you.

I know why you stay with me, because you think it's ok. And it is okay. Part of me wishes you'll stay so I don't have to do anything about it so it's your fault really.

I'm not sorry I hit you. I'm not sorry I scream at you. I know how to change but I'll keep "trying".

I'm a worthless, self-indulgent fuckcunt who needs to be beaten to death but this town is fulla pussies who will never, ever step up to help you, so I just laugh at them and you. And hit you some more.

You need help. And you need help right now. This is going to sound counter intuitive but call SARC or Portland Women's Crisis Line 505-235-5333 right now. They will have resources for you. You have to stop what you are doing. It's no joke, it's not "harmless".

@ 16 is absolutely right. Do get help! The fact that you are writing here, confessing this, shows that you have awareness & you know that what you are doing is fucked.

Listen to that part of you. She won't leave you...because she can't. She will stay, & you will hurt ~ her & you, & you both will become wounded & broken. More than you already are.
You do care...YOU DO! Then go! Know that you have issues that cause pain to those you Love. Then, go. If you truly love & care about this being, set her free to heal from the damage already done.

Love this person, let them go, so that both of you may move on to heal.
Blessings
