drop it off at the local kingdom hall, they will return it to the right bro. You dont have to worry about their reaction ,.. they wont be mad at all. If you dont dare to drop it off in person just hang it at the door anonymously.

Piece of advice...if you really want to make it right, look in the phone book under "Jehovah's Witnesses" and find the Kingdom Hall closest to where you took it from. Leave it in a bag (to protect it from the elements) with a note (or not) by the main entrance. If you leave it around the dinner hour on a Tuesday or Thursday night, about an hour later people will arrive for the mid-week meeting and, believe me, they'll likely be able to track down it's owner. I'm sure it would be appreciated.
