People will bitch about both of these things regardless of neighborhood. That said, Sellwood is still one of the last treasure neighborhoods in this city.. far more down to earth and personable than just about anywhere else here.

Who can blame the neighborhood for not wanting the low-life types that go to strip clubs and/or work at srip clubs? Seriously, the women who work there are full of STDs and on welfare that we all have to pay for. And the guys who go there spend their welfare dollars on dances because they have relationship issues/can't get dates/are greasy old men on motorcycles/are just plain pathetic/ALL of the above! Put them all together in one club and you get a sloppy mess pig sty.. gross! No wonder the neighborhood says no, and they have every right to.
