Why should he/she get a car, dickbag? By him even boarding and paying for a bus ticket, him/her and people like him/her are keeping Tri-met drivers, engineers, trip planners, ect. employed.

The other side of this story is: the people who get on the bus, then go for their cash, dig for it, finally find it, dribble their nickels into the machine...

...and then when they get their transfer they look for a place to stash it, peer around to scope out the seating situation, hovering in the aisle, not paying attention to the fact that MAYBE THE DRIVER'S GONNA START DRIVING IF HE WANTS TO MAKE IT TO GRESHAM BEFORE AUGUST!

Trimet has notoriously awful drivers. You either get one that is scared shitless and drives way way too slow, one who has a death wish and runs other cars off the road, or one who doesn't know how to use the break/gas pedals with ease make an extremely jerky ride...
