Okay anon, your geekiness is way cooler and more obscure than anyone else's. Congratulations. No one cares.
2
"Geek" is a very relative term. Be more specific, like: "Where are the Science geeks?!"

I'd like an answer to that as well.
3
They're around but they are too busy to be hanging out with all the fake geek hipsters that roam this beautiful city.
4
You can have my Star Trek action figures when you pry them from my cold dead fingers, asshole.
5
I have a Tardis USB hub. It makes the noise and everything. I love it dearly.
6
WHAT'S A 'REAL NERD'?
7
@Graham: Exactly.
8
What's a real God Particle? No one has really SAID it existed.
9
I concur. It'a all about keepin' it REAL!
10
The "real nerds" are typically found in "real America." It's a magical place where each individual can identify themselves with a group and that group automatically becomes a perfectly homogenous mass of people exactly like the wisher! That way, no one has to deal with the idea that other people might like some of the things that you like, but not all of them. It's a wondrous land filled with all of the sharp divides and polarization that make everything great, without any of the complexity and overlapping ideals that just ruins everything. Everyone is either exactly like you, or they're the enemy! It's so easy! Yay!
11
To be a "real" nerd, you have to enjoy getting into the fine details, the really innards, of something. So there can totally be humanities nerds, art nerds, etc. But just "being dorky" doesn't cover it.
12
this thread is the most fascinating thing this side of waterboarding.
13
They found a particle that behaved similar to a Higgs bosom but haven't found the actual God Particle. That could mean that they found a type of god particle, but didn't fully fitted the specifications of the debated "God Particle", or a Higgs boson, yet.

Meaning that there could be many more nearly similar behaving god particles, or particles close to the Higgs bosom behavior. Am not a scientist, I just like this stuff, am pretty sure somebody here knows how it goes.
14
Stop calling it a freaking 'God particle.' it's the 'Goddamn particle' and Higgs didn't coin the nickname. A physicist named Lederman did but his publisher didn't want to offend people who are religious so it injected religion instead.
15
PFFT. You bunch of Doctor Who haters.
16
Tom Baker was the best Doctor Who.
17
He was a snazzy dresser. But a lot of the Doctors are snazzy dressers.
18
The best Doctor Who companion had to be Amy Pond.
19
Amy was okay (although definitely one of the most attractive of companions), but once you threw in her husband along with them it just went to shit. But that has more to do with douchebag Steven Moffatt ruining the show after Davies handed it to him.

David Tennant will always be my favorite Doctor. He was pure perfection.
20
You wish.
21
No Leaky, I don't have to wish. The things I stated are my opinions, therefore they are the truth in my mind. And I am perfectly content with my opinions.
22
you are still wishing.
23
You are still making no sense. What am I supposedly wishing?
24
How am I supposed to know, I am not your Psychiatrist.
25
Alright then.
26
OK Miss i don't make sense.
27
Sore loser.
28
Leaky -- I DON'T UNDERSTAND YOUR MOON LANGUAGE.
29
That's not my problem. -- Kay_B
30
Nor is it mine. You have a fantastic day!
31
Hypocrite.
32
I wrote a screenplay called Hippo-crite. It's about a talking hippo that's also a total asshole. Late 90's teen idol Paul Walker is the voice of the hippo.
