I noticed this myself within weeks of first moving here. Does seem a bit odd that [for a city this size] businesses don't keep later hours. Most shops are closed by 7 or 8, pretty much everything by 10. After 12, your only choices are shitty fast food drive throughs, Denny's, Roxy's, Winco, 711, and Plaid.
But you're lucky if you have a vehicle. If you're on foot and live in a "food desert", you're pretty much fucked.
Sizzle Pie is open until 3am weeknights and 4am weekends. Why you insufferable white people can't seem to figure out how to use Google is beyond me. Fucking imbecile. Pizza by the slice until 4am! Problem solved!
Cartopia food cart pod at SE 12th & Hawthorne is open til 3am every night. I know it's not downtown technically, but you have a car, and that is some damn good food.
yeah lazy-ass, you just aren't looking hard enough. maybe no eats on your route home, but there are some late night pizza windows and carts. be better.
It's totally easier to remember which places are open till late. One snooping at that time all over google the city is an indicator of some other sort. Who lives in the city knows which spots are open or not.

Honestly, I have no idea why everything shuts down so early here. You'd think the market would support at least one burger joint...
The Roxy! Only one person in this whole thread knows of The Roxy; how can you actually live here and never of been to The Roxy? Shameful transplants!
