Definitely one of the better I,A's of late.

horrible.

use a leash, dumbasses -- what a gruesome sight that you, the (former) dog-owner had to see, and yet it was so avoidable.

yeah, "it always listens" and "it always stays close", except for this ONE TIME.

no, actually, you're not a dumbass, you're an asshole for inflicting the pain and suffering that you inflicted on both your dog and whoever else witnessed the terrible scene, young and old.

it's like having a 3-year-old kid that can break into a 15mph run all of a sudden at the sound of car backfiring, or to chase a skateboarder or a squirrel, or because of any other random stimuli.

however, i am still sorry that you had to learn this in such a harsh, horrific way.

(and for you folks that let your dog hang halfway out the window and/or stick it in the back of an open pickup, this should serve as a slightly abstract bit of foreshadowing.)

One less barking, slobbering, ankle-biting animal. Nice job.

Sometimes it's really obvious when someone "like"s their own post...

This is awful. My dog is EXTREMELY well behaved and she is NEVER not on a leash (besides dog parks or friend's back yards). This is painful lesson (hopefully) learned by this dog owner. Always leash your dog, people. Always. You lost your pet. Traumatized everyone involved - the owner, the driver, by standers. No one wants to see a dog hit by a car and brought to it's death. So sad.

Please wait...
