The term “Arab” is an ethno-linguistic identifier and is not indicative of religious belief. Granted the majority of those countries identified as Arab are dominated by the Muslim religion, but not all of them. There are plenty of Arab Jews and Christians out there, which means there are many different school with which an "Arab" can experiment with gay encounters at, theoretically.

I don't understand how some of you are still under the impression that the submissions to this column are somehow vetted before being published.

Unfortunately my posts are never very exciting since people usually agree, and my writing is decent enough to not be completely torn apart. I'm always surprised and disappointed on both counts.

I think it was due to naming an actual establishment in one case, and using the word "dyke," even though it wasn't used in a derogatory way, in another.
