You've provided 4 examples. I can find four assholes in any village or hamlet in the world. In the first case, the woman who spoke on the bus was the asshole. The people who didn't encourage her are heroic. In the second case, the person is complete trash and would be wherever he lived and in the third case you'll find many McDonald's that don't want people inside charging their phones, but that wouldn't make as good a story. And blocking a sidewalk is sort of a crime and ought to be more so.
